Description

CONNELLY V Versatail waterski

Leisure time can be a precious commodity for the recreational skier. Spend it wisely. Toss out the ancient fiberglass plank with busted bindings hanging in the garage. The new 2022 Connelly V is made in the U.S.A and features the automatic customization of Versatail. Other Connelly signature features such as drag reducing V-Tech, and a stabilizing wider forebody allows you to maximize your potential while remaining forgiving enough for a delightful cruise around the lake. You can thank us later

With the Connelly V and VersaTail, you choose how your ski rides and reacts.

Versatail

While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Our patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the 2021 Connelly DV8 Versatail Waterski.

Fiberglass

Fiberglass tech has been around since the 60’s but advancements in layup, weave, and fiberglass properties give us the consistent flex, vibration dampening and light weight skis we have today.

V-Tech

V-Tech is the key to increased maneuverability and decreased drag. Six “V” shaped steps regulate the flow of water on the base of the ski by breaking up the wetted surface area from the front binding to the fin. In short, less water sticks to your ski as you accelerate forward.

Wide Tunnel

This tunnel design leaves an extremely narrow flat spot between the edge of the tunnel and the bevel of the ski. The effect is a ski that actively seeks to be on edge, most useful for experienced skiers and buoy chasers that have above average ski control.
